A: My name is Amb. Richy E. Onolememen. I was born on March 21, 1974, in Uromi, Edo State. I am an Accountant, Entrepreneur, and Humanitarian who is deeply committed to uplifting the less privileged in our society.
Q2: Tell us a little about your background. what kind of family did you grow up in?
A: I was born into the esteemed family of the late Mr. Augustine Ezewele and Mrs. Comfort Onolememen. My father was a well-respected public official and community leader. He worked as a teacher and later as a Forestry Officer in the Ministry of Agriculture. Upon retirement, he transitioned into entrepreneurship. His dedication and discipline left a lasting impression on all of us.
Q3: Tell us about your career and business personality.
A: I am an astute Managing Director with over 19 years of experience in business leadership. I specialize in solving complex challenges that may threaten business profitability, consistently offering creative solutions that result in significant cost savings, sometimes up to 27%. I serve as an advisor to investors and have a strong track record in negotiation and strategic planning.
I am the Chairman of Guidotti Group, a multifaceted company involved in real estate, construction, facility management, hospitality, investment advisor, and consultancy. Other companies I lead include Solid Made Ltd, Urban Bubble Ltd, Goorchy Properties Nig. Ltd, Genesis Hotel, Hotel Guidotti, and Whitehart Hotel & REO Apartments.
In the UK, I am the Managing Director of JK Cash & Carry Ltd, and a Director at Ades Salford Manchester UK Ltd.
I’ve also had enriching experiences working with Nigeria’s Defence Health Maintenance Ltd, Arki-Waves Nig. Ltd, and Gomic Consortium International Ltd, as well as serving as the NYSC auditor at Pipeline and Products Marketing Company (PPMC), an affiliate of the NNPC.

Q5: Where did your entrepreneurial spirit come from? Were your parents entrepreneurs?
A: Yes, both my parents were successful entrepreneurs, and their lifestyle of discipline and enterprise shaped my early understanding of business.
Q6: Who was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?
A: My brother, Dr. (Arc) Mike Onolememen played a pivotal role. His unwavering pursuit of excellence is truly inspiring and continues to push me forward.
Q7: How have your experiences shaped the leader you are today?
A: I’ve faced both triumphs and challenges, each teaching me critical life lessons. Every experience has been essential in moulding me into a better leader and preparing me for greater responsibilities.
Q8: What keeps you motivated?
A: The passion for what I do, the next project, creative thinking, and most importantly, the “wow moments” when clients are satisfied with our swift project deliveries.

A: I have great admiration for Tony Elumelu. His business acumen, impact, and leadership style are truly remarkable.
Q12: If you could change one thing in your business journey, what would it be?
A: I would have brought more investors on board much earlier in my journey.

A: Yes, I have received several awards. Although I don’t actively seek them, recognition tends to find its way to me, and I’m always grateful.
Q14: March 1974 means you just turned the big 5-0. Congratulations! How do you feel about this milestone?
A: I feel deeply grateful. Looking back at where I started, I can boldly say, “It’s been God all the way.” I’m excited and full of gratitude.

A: (Smiles) Thank you for the kind words. I stay focused by setting realistic goals and working towards them. For fitness, I maintain a healthy lifestyle: regular workouts, a balanced diet, and staying hydrated.
Q17: How do you give back to society?
A: I founded Elens Foundation in 2011 to support vulnerable groups, especially in rural communities. The foundation provides empowerment, health, and education programs across Africa.
We’re particularly focused on orphans, widows, and displaced individuals.
